Original comment: This pic is a bit of a spoiler but I haven't found many people who've read these books so 'meh'. Alrighty, since DA has changed and the search engine has been vastly improved I've had a lot of comments on a pic I have in scraps of these two characters, Akkarin and Sonea from Trudi Canavan's 'Black Magician' trilogy. When I moved to scotland I had to limit my selection of books that I brought over and I brought this series as I knew I'd get an urge to reread them at some point. Glad I did coz with the renewed interest I've picked up these books again, man they rock! Yesterday ~jimmy0047 hosted a SPACED marathon in his flat, we watched series one and half of series 2 back to back while we drew, this is one of the pics that transpired yesterday.(thanks again jim!) Akkarin, what can I say, is dark, pale and broody with long dark hair and he's just yummy and all mine! Sonea, who I think looks a little older than her years here(then again, she is) is meant to look a little androdenous(you know what I mean!) with her short boyish haircut, she's defiant and regal and standing by what she believes is right, thus she stands with Akkarin. Can't wait to get to the end of these books again, woohoo! |
